DIAMOND DRILLING
Diamond Drilling is the most precise and efficient way of creating holes, slots and openings of various diameters and depths. It is the most cost-effective way of removing concrete, block or granite structures by reducing the various elements into safe manageable sections, which can be removed safely, thus preventing injury whilst manual handling is underway.
We provide professional diamond core drilling services through concrete, brick, block, granite, stone, granite, tile, asphalt, reinforced concrete and slate.
Our experienced team can tailor our services to suit projects of all sizes, from just one hole through to major project requirements. We undertake work for plumbing and electrical installations by creating holes for the fitting of pipes and cables, anchoring bolts/systems and load carrying devices.
We have the largest range of drills in Jersey, from 6mm to 1000mm in diameter and utilize low vibration hand held drills for smaller holes and confined spaced.
DIAMOND WALL & FLOOR CHASING
Floor and wall chasing is a technique used for cutting neat channels in masonry or concrete structures known as chases.
A chase is created using a hand-held power grinder that has a diamond blade. The process involves cutting two slots to a precise depth and width, then the centre piece gets removed using a small breaker or a hammer drill. This is a quick technique and is comparatively dust-free due to an attached vacuum that collects any resultant dust before it can escape.
Chasing can be utilised for cutting into floors, ceilings and walls for necessary pipe work and conduits. The method is appropriate for a variety of materials. Our machinery can cut depths of up to 120mm and can cater to any width required.
DIAMOND WALL & FLOOR SAWING
Diamond wall and floor sawing is a fast, safe, precise and cost-effective method used either as an aid in demolition or to create openings for doorways/windows and services. We have a selection of concrete ring saws/floor saws and chain saws with a cutting depth of up to 630mm. We can also obtain wire saws and rail saws, if required, for larger contracts.
Our team use a variety of different blades to allow efficient cutting of different materials such as reinforced concrete, concrete, block and granite/stone. All our diamond equipment is 3 Phase or hydraulically powered and water cooled, except for our
self-propelled floor saws, which are petrol driven.
Diamond ring saws are most commonly used when creating openings in walls, which has a maximum cutting depth of 320mm. They can also be used to cut an uneven floor or when work space is limited.
Self-propelled floor saws are used when cutting floor slabs into safe manageable sections, which can then be removed safely. They have a cutting depth of up to 1000mm, and are also used for opening trenches in concrete or asphalt.
Our diamond chain saw is used in tight spaces or when a depth greater than the ring saw can provide is required.
